Papertrey Ink March Blog Hop

Hello! I'm joining the Papertrey Ink blog hop this month with a card I created using the Ruby Rose Stamp set , Ruby Rose Dies, and Stylized Autumn stamp set.

I started by stamping the leafy branch from Stylized Autumn in the background using Soft Stone ink and the sentiment from Ruby Rose using True Black ink.

The flowers and leaves were stamped, then cut out with the Ruby Rose dies. I added them to my card with foam tape and added some accents with a fine line black pen and white acrylic paint.

All of the products I used are listed and linked below! Thank you so much for stopping by!

Check out all of the details of the hop on Nichole's blog!

Have a wonderful day!

Ahoy With Neat & Tangled

Hello! I'm back again today with a couple more cute cards I created for my guest spot with Neat & Tangled this month.

I used the absolutely adorable Yo Ho Ho stamp set and Yo Ho Ho matching dies. Cutest little pirates you've ever seen!

For my background I used Peerless Watercolor, and a wet on wet technique, then splattered with water and added some white dots with acrylic paint. The sandy mound was done the same way but splatted with some darker brown as well.

The cute designs were all colored with Prismacolor Colored Pencils, and cut out with the Yo Ho Ho matching dies. Everything was adhered with foam tape to a white card base.

I stamped the sentiment from the Yo Ho Ho stamp set in black ink and added a few sequins to finish it up!

Well I had to make a card with the little Pirate boy too. Couldn't leave him out :) The background is Salty Ocean Distress Ink blended onto Bristol Board and speckled with water.

Again everything was colored with Prismacolor Colored Pencils, cut out with the Yo Ho Ho dies, and adhered with foam tape.

I had a lot of fun playing with this cute set! I hope you have enjoyed seeing what I've created!

Everything I used is listed and linked below!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hello Sunshine

Happy Monday! I have a card to share with you today that I did for The 30 Day Coloring Challenge over at The Daily Marker. I love to color and have been wanting to join in, so finally found some time this weekend to color!

This is an adorable stamp set from Lawn Fawn called Flutter By and the Flutter By Dies that I have had for awhile but never used. I thought it looked like a fun one to color. I used Copic markers to color everything and added shading with my Prismacolor Pencils

For the background I used another stamp that I had had and not used before called Leafy Vine by Hero Arts. I inked it up with Distress inks stamped it onto watercolor paper, then took a wet brush and went over it to give it a watercolor look.

The sentiment is from the Polynesian Paradise Stamp set from My Favorite Things. I embossed it with white embossing powder onto black card stock.  I also added a few tiny white dots to the flowers and leaves with acrylic paint.

Thanks so much for stopping by! All of the products are listed and linked below!

Neat & Tangled Guest Designing

Hello! I am super excited to be guesting with Neat & Tangled this month! They have some of the cutest stamps and dies around!

It was love at first sight when I saw the Flower Medallion Stamps set and Flower Medallion Builder dies! I'm a sucker for anything you can make into a flower or use for radial symmetry. I have two cards to share with you today using this fun new set!

I started with a piece of watercolor paper and stamped the leaves on that using Distress Inks. I then took a brush and some water and loosely went around the edges creating a soft watercolor look. When that was dry I added some speckles with the same Distress Inks.

I cut the watercolored panel to fit the top of my card and glued that down with adhesive tape. I used the MISTI to stamp the sentiment underneath in the same shades of ink that I stamped the leaves in. I then cut out three of the flower/leaf dies,  arranged them on the side,  and added some rain stones to finish it up.

For my next card I wanted to use the Flower Medallion Builder dies to create a flower. I took some plain white card stock and blended some purple and pink ink onto it, then cut the petals from that. I stamped the flower in the center of the card, then arranged the petals around it.

I used the tiny circle stamps and stamped those in between the petals, and added some sequins to the center. I used the MISTI to stamp the sentient with the same purple and pink inks to match the flowers.

Thank you so much for stopping by!
